I'm a girl and I love music. So I'm stealing that ginger bloke's idea and posting songs. More precisely, really fucking awesome live tunes, chosen primarily on the strength of the performance, not necessarily the song itself (although it probably kicks serious arse, too.) Mostly in video format, sometimes audio. I go to a lot of concerts, so I'll also post videos I recorded myself - usually in HD and with decent sound, therefore viewing is highly recommended!
On occasion, this place may turn into a drooling Patrick Wolf / Joanna Newsom / Neil Hannon appreciation lustfest.
I might also post lulz. And Stephen Fry. And feminist rants. Truth be told, anything at random, really.
This is not an exploration of my deep soul or highly individualistic personality. Fuck that wankery. Play it loud.
Go see more gigs and rock out with your flappy bits out.
If I start following you, it doesn't in any way mean I expect to be followed back, I just really like what you post and want to see it on my dash.

Rufus Wainwright - Sonnet 29 live at Spoleto Festival, June 26, 2010
When, in disgrace with fortune and men’s eyes,
I all alone beweep my outcast state
And trouble deaf heaven with my bootless cries
And look upon myself and curse my fate,
Wishing me like to one more rich in hope,
Featured like him, like him with friends possess’d,
Desiring this man’s art and that man’s scope,
With what I most enjoy contented least;
Yet in these thoughts myself almost despising,
Haply I think on thee, and then my state,
Like to the lark at break of day arising
From sullen earth, sings hymns at heaven’s gate;
For thy sweet love remember’d such wealth brings
That then I scorn to change my state with kings.
